Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa Lucybelle 2 Model Car in 1:8 Scale by Amalgam

loading...

Regarded by some as the most beautiful car ever created, this is without doubt one of the most iconic cars built by Ferrari in their long and rich history. It is also one of the most valuable, an example sold for a record 9 million Euros at auction in Maranello in 2009. The list of drivers of this car reads like a hall of fame of the late 1950s. This small limited edition of 99 models is of car #22, christened "Lucybelle 2" and driven to seventh place overall at Le Mans by Ed Hugus and Ernie Erickson in 1958.

Amalgam are proud to announce the use of genuine Akzo Nobel chrome paint on our models of the MP4-26. This super reflective paint used on the real cars demands a high level of skill in application but the resulting finish is spectacular and well worth the trouble to achieve complete authenticity in the models. Sandy Copeman Amalgam's MD said 'it's a privilege to work with McLaren and Akzo Nobel to create models that accurately match the superb levels of detail and finish of the real cars'.
