This is the De Tomaso Pantere5.8L V8 #30 24h Le Mans 1972 in 1:18 scale by LS Collectibles.

The De Tomaso Pantera 5.8L V8, fielded by Escuderia Montjuich and wearing the number 30, competed in the 1972 24 Hours of Le Mans with Spanish drivers José Juncadella and Fernando de Baviera. Juncadella was a respected endurance racer, while de Baviera, a Spanish nobleman, was known for his passion for motorsports. The 1972 Le Mans race was unique as it marked the first year of the revised circuit layout, with the iconic Maison Blanche section altered for safety improvements, leading to the introduction of the Porsche Curves. Despite its raw power, the Pantera struggled with durability and reliability issues, which plagued many GT-class competitors of the era. The race itself saw a high attrition rate, reinforcing its reputation as the ultimate test of endurance and engineering.

This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. Resin models are
exceptionally accurate of scale, shape and detail. Each model is created using a variety of production
processes, to achieve this precision. They are produced using a composite material referred to in the
industry as “resin”. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are often used
for the most authentic replication.
