This is the Ferrari 250 GTO 64 Le Mans 24h 1964 Maranello Concessionaires # 25 6th place I. Ireland /T. Maggs /J. Stewart in 1:12 s by Tecnomodel.
At the 1964 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Ferrari 250 GTO ’64 #25 entered by Maranello Concessionaires was driven by Innes Ireland, Tony Maggs, and a young Jackie Stewart, finishing a strong 6th overall against fierce factory and prototype competition. Ireland, a seasoned Grand Prix winner, brought experience and race management; Maggs added proven endurance speed; and Stewart — still early in his international career — gained invaluable long-distance racing experience that would shape his future three-time Formula One World Championship success. What set the 1964 Le Mans apart from many other races was its blend of high-speed Mulsanne Straight running, day-to-night transitions, and the growing dominance of purpose-built prototypes, making it one of the last eras where a front-engined GT car like the 250 GTO could still compete respectably against increasingly advanced machinery over the full 24-hour marathon.
This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. Resin models are
exceptionally accurate of scale, shape and detail. Each model is created using a variety of production
processes, to achieve this precision. They are produced using a composite material referred to in the
industry as “resin”. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are often used
for the most authentic replication.
