This is the Jordan Honda 198 1998 Belgian GP Damon Hill Car # 9 in 1:18 scale by Tecnomodel.

The 1998 Belgian Grand Prix, held on August 30 at Spa-Francorchamps, was a historic race for the Jordan team, marked by chaotic conditions and their first Formula 1 victory. Damon Hill, driving the Jordan 198 powered by a Mugen-Honda MF-301 3.0 V10 engine, won the race, securing his 22nd and final F1 victory. His teammate, Ralf Schumacher, finished second, giving Jordan a 1-2 finish. The race was notable for torrential rain and a massive first-lap crash involving multiple cars, which led to a red flag and a restart. Hill started third on the grid and navigated the challenging conditions to lead Jordan to their maiden win, with Jean Alesi taking third for Sauber. This victory was a high point for the Jordan 198, which had underperformed earlier in the season despite high expectations from pre-season testing. Controversy arose as team orders reportedly instructed Ralf Schumacher to let Hill pass for the win, a decision some criticized.

This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. Resin models are
exceptionally accurate of scale, shape and detail. Each model is created using a variety of production
processes, to achieve this precision. They are produced using a composite material referred to in the
industry as “resin”. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are often used
for the most authentic replication.
