This is the Ford England Capri RS 3100 #5 ETCC Zandvoort 1974 Dieter Glemser/Toine Hezemans in 1:18 scale by Werk83.

The Ford Capri RS 3100 was a powerhouse in the 1974 European Touring Car Championship (ETCC), competing at Zandvoort with drivers Dieter Glemser and Toine Hezemans. This race stood out due to Zandvoort’s challenging coastal circuit, known for its fast, flowing corners and shifting sand from the nearby dunes, which made grip levels unpredictable. The RS 3100, developed by Ford England, was equipped with a 3.1L V6 engine, aggressive aerodynamics, and a lightweight body, making it a fierce competitor against BMW and Alfa Romeo. Glemser, a seasoned German touring car driver, and Hezemans, a Dutch racing star, brought a combination of speed and technical skill, demonstrating the Capri’s capability in one of the most demanding ETCC events of the season.

This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. These diecast
models are exceptionally accurate of scale, shape and detail. Interior detail is hand assembled and easily
visible. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are often used for a most
authentic replication.
